In case you didn’t hear, we had quite some wild weather here in the Valley of the (usually) Sun.
Here in the icedlatte.com homestead, it was fun. Mostly a lot of wind and water. Was worried about our tree in the front yard, but it turned out to be fine.

2010.
I thought we’re supposed to be getting new planets and such this year. Doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. (Then again, we were also supposed to be able to travel to other planets and such, and, well, yeah.)
New years resolutions? Me? Ehh. None. Probably I guess it is to cut back on the soda and just drink more coffee. Get the caffeine without the empty calories of the sugar.

…Hello, 2010.
Hard to believe, huh? It just seems like the other day we were living in the wild and .com world of the late 90’s. Worried about Y2K. My Mother-in-law stocked up on toilet paper. She thought she could always trade for anything else she needed. (We had extra toilet paper for a long while.)
Now, we’re entering the ’10’s. I’m sure that will look weird on the checks for a while.
2009 was a good year, and I really can’t complain. We have a home we like, even though we’re probably upside down it doesn’t matter since we have no plans to move anyway. And we both have our jobs.
2010 will hopefully bring good stuff. Have a say New Year’s Eve all, and Happy Birthday Mom!

Yes, it’s that time of the year again.
Being the “Festivus for the rest of us”, it’s time for the “Airing of Grievances” and “The Feats of Strength”.
The wife, having a cold (that I probably gave her. Natch) is no match for my mighty strength.
Of course, it’s also two days until Christmas.
Luckily, we got our Christmas shopping done the other day. And by “we”, I mostly mean the wife finished it. But I had to do a little, and did most of it done online. (Thanks, Amazon and Amazon Prime!)
Now I’m on vacation, and don’t have to go back to work until the 4th of January, just like the wife. It’s a nice break, and I hope to catch up on some sleep.
