I think it’s time to purchase a new car.. But how much fun it is to find a new car. But the process begins… What’s the leaders? I’m glad you asked:

Honda Element – definitely a different SUV. But it’s a first year model, and I’m not super-happy with those.

Xterra, Hyundai Santa Fe, or other assorted SUV-ish – Whatever we can afford.

VW Jetta or Bug – Either are pretty sweet.

So the search continues, but I think we’ll find something.

So now it looks like we might have ‘issues’ with Cassie’s car. As I’ve stated earlier (see below), I really wish I knew much more about them that I do now. But that’s life in the big city.

Thursday is upon us, and it’s as Thursday-rific as every Thursday past.

416 days until the next WDW trip.. But I’m not counting or anything.

Yes, it’s Wednesday already. That day when it means the week is half-done.

Cars. I wish I knew more about them. Well, more than just “gas-goes-here” & “windshield-wiper-fluid-goes-here” (don’t ever mix the two up, by the way). the little pickup that could keeps missing it’s radiator fluid. Fun stuff.

Backgrounds by Friday. I promise.

Yeah, two latte’s in one day. Is there anything more beautiful than that? I ask!

So what was up today? Well, another enjoyable viewing of “Bruce Almighty”… It’s good once, but I’m not recommending it twice, no sir. But my in-laws wanted to see it, so see again we do. No biggie. Noticed a view things we didn’t the first time.

I’m actually working on a few background images for your desktops. Nothing too cool, just a few DL or WDW picts. Here’s a sample:

That’s actually from the Grand Californian hotel at Disneyland. Not too shabby.. Any hoo, that one and more should be available later this week.. I know you just can’t wait.

Just another lazy Saturday.. Sleep, and TV.. Then VH1 is forced to show many episodes of “I love the 80′s” in a row.. I hate it when they do that. Don’t they know that people have to get things done on the weekend!??! But it’s not happening when that show is on, I’ll tell ya.

Saw the new flick “Bruce Almighty” tonight. Not too bad. Of course, as always, most of the ‘good’ scenes are shown in the previews. That’s friggin annoying.

Yes! It’s about time! We finally drained and moved Cassie’s classroom fish tank.. And man, is that sucker fish huge! But hey, it was tough work. (*cough* I didn’t scoop the fish out. *cough*) I’ll have to post another picture of said-tank, as we’ve added plants and such, and it looks much better than what’s pictured below.

Game of the day: Wipeout 2 for the Xbox – Sweet. What can you say about a game that you get ‘points’ for causing major car accidents? I guess until Midtown Madness comes out later next month, this will be the one to play.

So the extended family is going to WDW with us. (For those of us that forgot.. Here’s our WDW travelogue) Yes, the Bates’ are going back to WDW…. in 2004. This time, we’re also doing the Disney Cruise. Fun, fun stuff.

Yeah, I’m dragging.. Up till 1am helping the infamous friend build his computer, then up at 6:30am to do some web work. Some quick snoozes before another meeting at 9am. Then it’s off to the datacenter to do some more work.

I think the fish tank pH issue is finally cleared up. It looks nice and clear now.

What else? It’s not Friday yet, and that really sucks.

It’s funny when you have friends (yes, Jerry, this is you) that were into console gaming forever, with you telling him that PC gaming is the way to go, and magically, they discover it one day.

It’s a good thing.

Another 6:30am conference call tomorrow, then it’s actually off to work. Fun, fun, fun.

Working from home is great…. Except when you have to wake up at 6:30am for a conference call with India. Not fun. But then again, it’s easy to roll out of bed and onto the conference call.

We lost a fish today. {play TAPS}…. one of the neon tetras. So it’s back to the pet store today to get a refund/replacement.

Also, notice the return of the WebCam! Mostly, it will have pictures of the fish tank (when I actually have my laptop on, ie: during the day), but you never know. If you want to PayPal me some cash, maybe we can work something out. (Not really, but what an easy gig!)

Lunch? #2 from In-And-Out Burger. Gotta love it.

Fish tank issue? The pH was out of this world. Some pH-Down installed, and should be doing better.

Just a word of warning..

If you purchase an aquarium heater, be sure it works. Otherwise, it could heat your aquarium to 84 degrees.
