Another weekend…

…another trip.
This time, we’re not off to far-flung destinations like San Francisco. Heck, not even Anaheim.
It’s just Tempe.
The wife has a reading convention at downtown Phoenix, and instead of driving daily from the QC, we got a hotel in Tempe. That enables her to take the light rail into downtown, and me to hang out by the pool. (And by “hang out by the pool“, I mean stay in the hotel room, work on stuff, and maybe make a trip to Fry’s Electronics.)
The dog? Oh yeah. She’s with my Aunt. Good times for her too.

Back from the San Francisco.

..and it was a good time.
We told our friends we were there to see their baby, and they believed it.
We were there for the food.
And it was good.
From the most awsomest Taco Bell in the world, to the great drinks at Cha Cha Cha, to the delicious ice cream of the Toy Boat.
Of course, I’m lying, though, in that we enjoyed hanging out with our friends, and their new kidlet, Harvey. Almost made me wish I had one. Then I noticed them waking up at 2 in the morning, and I thought, “Well, a dog is nice too.” Just kidding.
All in all, great. Pictures should be arriving soon. (ie: when I get around to downloading them off the camera.)

So we’ve been having storms here in the valley O’ the sun, and then it turned into hail. This was the third time today we’ve had hail, and this time, it covered our backyard in white.
