Boeing 787 Lego

So, I finally got around to picking up the Boeing 787 from Lego. Only 84 steps, spread out over two books.
In total, it took about 4-5 hours to build it. It was interesting to actually mount the wings on, as that was the most tricky step. It’s also a little larger than I thought it would be. (The wingspan is 27″.)
About half-finished with the body of the plane.
Adding the support for the fuselage.
Done with the fuselage!
Installed the tail.
Have it on the stand now.
All done!
All in all, it’s a pretty cool model, and it will look good in my office. Of course, I need to find a little bigger spot for it.

Maybe I should just rename this blog “I discuss and complain about the weather“…. .com.
Yeah. It’s been pretty hot the last couple of days. As in about 10 degrees above normal, actually. Which means we’ve topped out at just about 100 degrees.
Over the weekend my Gram and my Aunt made a trip out to the QC for the Queen Creek Olive Mill’s “Grill in the Grove“.
They had grilled Italian brauts, wine tasting, live music, and generally, a good time. The weather was a little warm, of course, but other than that, a good time was had by all.
