Man, oh man.
Finally, a chance to wear a long-sleeve shirt and jacket in Phoenix, and not look like a complete idiot. Yes, it’s been that cold. How cold? Well, the low the other night was 45 or so. Quite chilly for Phoenix.
For the holidays, though, we’re traveling to beautiful Farmington, NM, and enjoy some really cold weather, where the high is 45 degrees. And of course, it’s a nice long drive. About 6 hours.
Other than that, not much going on in the life of Mr. & Mrs. IcedLatte.

“…I was taken aback. She pulled out the earbuds on her iPod and indicated the jack with her eyes.”
Uh yeah.. Sure.. Don’t touch my Ipod.

Man, I really, really have a use for something like this, but it’s impossible to find! Someone needs to make a Mini Ethernet Hub

Well, they opened a new ride at the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. For those of you that thought the ’shoot-you-up’ ride at the top was, well, say, tame, I give you X-Scream.
The object of this ride is just to dangle you over the side of the building on a small track, with what looks like roller-coaster style cars. Quite freaky. I also understand they installed a bar next to the ride, for those that need a little enticements to actually get on the ride. Nice move. Maybe they should also sell clean undergarments for after the ride?
You can check out this nice library of shots from opening day here:

.. even though sometimes it feels like it.
With work and everything, it’s been a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious month so far, and it’s just going to get better.
Yep, we got moved. Of course, most of our life is now reduced to living out of boxes, which is always grand, but it slowly coming together.
Finally, I was able to drop TVMax (read about wonderful TVMax here, which I’m really happy for. I was able to get pretty much every service that Cox Cable provides. (phone, Internet, and digital cable.) So far, I’ve been pretty happy. Really can’t complain, even though they did screw up the order a little bit, and that irks me. Of course, they didn’t take any amount off the bill because of it, but that will change, I guarantee it.
Tonight is the new Matrix movie. I’m keeping an open mind, even though I’ve heard both good and bad reviews. Such is life.
Don’t forget: Disneyland backgrounds are here.
