Yes, stupid joke.

So I arrived in Minneapolis for training yesterday. Another full flight, another flight with just peanuts. But I did watch the movie Miracle, and it was actually pretty good. Better than I thought.

The weather here is actually pretty nice.. I was surprised, especially after how muggy Houston was. High’s in the mid/low 80’s, so I can handle that.

What I can’t handle, though, is the time change. It’s only two hours ahead from Phoenix, but man, trying to go to sleep at 10pm Phoenix time (or 12am local time) is hard, but waking up at 4:45am Phoenix time (6:45 local) is the hardest. I think I’m going to have a lok of coffee today.

Yes, it’s Friday.. The sucessful end of the week, which is always quite nice.

Hopefully if your using IE on Windows, you’ve heard about their security alert. Once again, quite a little nasty one. Thanks, Microsoft!

I’ve been thinking about getting an Apple lately. My PC is getting a little old, and I just don’t really do a lot of stuff anymore that I absolutely need to have a PC for. Besides, I could use my laptop for that. But since Apple runs UNIX, and it has everything I really need, that’d be sweet to have. Just the cost. hmmm..

So some of our friends are out of town this week, so we’re watching their house and taking care of their business. It’s cool, nice being in Scottsdale, but it’s definetely a different environment.

With that, worked picked me up a new laptop, a Dell Latitude D600. It’s smaller than my D800, and a few pounds lighter, but it’s slower. I still think I’ll switch over to it, though, as it’s a pain lugging that heavy thing around. So change is good. But it’s a nightmare to get all the software, email, documents & such to the other box, which is taking awhile.

It seems to be automatic, but yeah, we’re back once again.

Houston was a very cool town. Other than being a little muggy, it was nice. The Woodlands is a pretty cool area, especially for someone like me that drools when they see green grass or a large tree. I think I’ve lived in Arizona too long.

Went to the beach, hung out with the friends, and generally had a good time. Was nice getting an upgrade to first class on the return trip, even though all you get are bigger seats and more than just peanuts. Still very cool.

And that means it’s back to work time…

Catching up, once again. Looks like I have to make a flight to Minneapolis next week for some unexpected training, so that’ll be cool. ..and muggy once again, but that’s okay.

Well, tomorrow, we’re off on trip #3 so far for the Summer.. Beautiful Houston, Texas. As of right now, the temp is 74 degrees with 91% humidity. Sounds nice, doesn’t it? I think I don’t need to shower for the time I’m there… Just walk outside.

We’re just down to 30 days for the trip to WDW. Are we excited? Well, you figure it out.

Yes, we’re home, once again. This trip was a quickie up to beautiful Springerville, Arizona. It wasn’t too bad. We blew into town for a friend’s wedding, which we had to do a lot of the setup & support of, then cleaning, then some visiting, and finally, the trip home.

Then after doing laundry, it’s off to Houston to complete the trifecta. It’ll be nice to be home for awhile, until we jet off to Orlando for the cruise.

Monday? Oh, it’s in the office, as I’m going to a different group, so I gotta train the replacement. No biggie.

Yep, I’ve now been married for 4 years. The time, though, definetely seems to fly by, as it doesn’t seem like 4 years. But I’m not complaining. Cassie’s been the greatest wife in the world..

Yep, officially today, we’ve been married 4 years. I can’t complain; it’s been great, and she puts up with me, so that’s always good.

This one is weird, though, in that it’s the first time that I’ve actually had to work on our anniversary.. We usually take off and get out of town for it, but this time, we couldn’t since we have to go to a wedding this weekend. But that’s okay.

Quite surprising that I got a pay raise, effective 7/1. Wasn’t expecting that. It’s nice to be recognized, though, so I guess I can’t explain, especially with the little wife going part-time next semester at school.
