Yep, it’s done. Lots of turkey & ham later, and my belly is fully. Well, at least full for the next month. Then we start all over again with Christmas.
It was nice getting some time off; got quite a lot done. Some highlights:
Oh yeah, and the aforementioned turkey.
Tomorrow, back to work.

Just can’t seem to shake whatever the heck I have. Seems like sinuses, but it also seems like a cold. Just annoying.
Moved into my new office, and it’s not too bad. Not anywhere close to a window, which slightly sucks, but hey, I guess I can’t complain.

Okay. DOOM 3 looked pretty good. The game play, eh.. Dark, and monsters just popped up every now and then.
Then there is Half Life 2.
Yes. It’s amazing. Yes, it’s beautiful to look at. Yes, it plays like a dream. Yes, the story is cool. All in all, it’s great.
Actually, what am I doing typing this? I’m off to play.
Later sk8tr.

Meetings from 9am, and of course the never ending design work.
Then a break for dinner.
Now back on the conference calls since 9pm, and it’s still going.
That’s life in the fast lane. Living large, and all that.

..two guesses..
Alright. Yeah, you probably figured it out. Yeah, we’re going there. Again. Nothing wrong with that, though. It is the happiest place on Earth, after all. Christmas time is the best time to go, anyway. People are all happy, and nobody grumbles about the price of water or churro’s. hmmm… Churro’s..
Donkey Konga is the bomb. Totally. Like it’s cool and such. But after awhile, it hurts the hands a little. I think I’ll probably end up with a few calluses from the game.

But I did pick up Donkey Konga, and it’s a blast. Work on that rhythm, without looking as stupid playing DDR. Now, of course, I’ll probably have to pick up an extra set of bongos for some multi-player action. Sweeeet. Bongos with “Rock Lobster” just rule. That’s all I can say about that.

I knew there was a reason I had to wear glasses... Oh well. What can you do now?
Today is Half-Life 2, but I think I’m going to wait awhile to pick it up. Too much going on to really play a video game right now, so I’ll probably just end up picking up this instead.
Off to shower…

Yep, I got one.
Spent a large part of Sunday night working on network designs for Monday moning, yet I still seem to end up behind. Not quite sure how that still works, but it always seems to be that way.
But good news: Finding you have 80 hours of vacation you’re going to lose at the end of the year, and you still have time to take it. So next week is a little easier, and Christmas should be nicer.

Yes. It’s been too long, old friend.
Work varies from “man, this is exciting!” to “man, I’m crazy for doing this.” But that’s a good thing, I guess. I can say my work is varied. From dealing with the endless reports I have to do, to dealing with the endless array of project managers who want their project done now, to the 5 minutes I have to pee-pee, I love it. I need to keep telling myself that, otherwise, I might ’splode.
This weekend was spent doing mucho stuff.. First a Birthday for m ysister-in-law, then some classes at church, and finally to top it all off a football game. (Cardinals Vs. Giants.) Yeah, the Cardinals one, and I’m very surprised.
