Mac is good…

Yeah, I really can’t complain. It’s nice having a sweet, sweet UNIX underneath, with a pretty, pretty GUI on top. It’s replaced my day-to-day environment of Windows XP, but I have my XP box around for games and such. (Which I still have to install some soon.)

We’re now dealing with grass in the backyard. No, not that kind of grass. Just the regular kind. We’ve been watering like mad, and it’s been doing pretty decent. Next up is picking up a few ceiling fans, since it’s going to get hotter than a mutha, and a fan is always good.

Yes, I switched to a Mac..

..as my primary machine this week.

I found myself at the Apple Store at Chandler Fashion Square the other day, and sure enough, they had one Mac-Mini left, so I cancelled my web order from one of their computers, and proceeded to walk out with one.

I then returned twenty minutes later when I remembered I didn’t have any USB keyboards at home; just USB mice. Got one of their sweet, sweet Bluetooth models, and it’s quite a joy to type on, actually.

After moving the important documents over (ie: Music & Pictures), I’m good to go.

It’s going to take awhile to get fully used to how OSX runs compared to Windows XP, but I think I’m going to like it just fine. It does everything I need to do, and it’s pretty friggin small.

Yadda Yadda Yadda…

Yeouch!

Queen Creek didn’t kill us, trust me. We’re still alive. The country air, I guess, just gives you a lot of other things to do.

What’s new? Ehh.

I’m finally making the switch to Apple. I ordered a new Mac-Mini yesterday, and I can hardly wait to get it. I think it will work out pretty well, but I’m still going to keep the PC around for games; one area that the Mac just isn’t as good at.
