This is pretty cool, especially if you’re no Bob Vila like I am. It’s a good article on doing your own home wiring. Very nice.

I was looking around Google the other day, when I was bored and I thought I would Google on my old email addresses.
Back in the day, we used to post to quite a few newsgroups. Click the “Continue Reading..” link below to see what I wrote about a (then slightly smaller) company called Starbucks back in February 1994.

Target Stores will start selling full size video Arcade machines for less than $500. The one machine plays 12 of the original arcade versions of Defender, Defender II, Robotron, Joust, Bubbles, Splat, Sinistar, Rampage, Rootbeer Tapper, Wizard of Wor, Timber, and Satan’s Hollow.
This could be interesting. Seems a little short, though. Still thinking about making my own MAME cabinet. But I’m thinking I’d prefer to make a cocktail, instead of an upright.

So, we have this little thing we call “Super Happy Fun Day”. We’ve been doing it since ,what?, 1998, I think?
Notice the title of this DVD that was just released.
I think it’s time to get The Eagle involved.

Scottsdale, Arizona is getting a nice McDonalds. Too bad their food is probably going to still suck.
Other than the fries. The fries kick major buttocks.
We’ve been on a major Chik-Fil-A kick lately. It’s very tasty. It’s very good. And I love the chicken. Oh, and the one pickle.

Good times, good times.
We had some friends from Houston, Texas in town for a week, so most of the time was hanging out with them.
Did we hit up Disneyland? Well, what do you think? It was mostly a visit for the out-of-towners and their 1.5 year old baby, so rides were kept to a minimum, but it was still a lot of fun. The weather was nice there, so that made it even better. Oh, and the Caddy I rented to drive there was nice too.
Then we drove up North to beautiful Flagstaff. We went to a campsite outside of town, and did some hot dogs and marshmellows over a fire. Pretty good, but it was cold up there.
But now they’re gone, and Monday it’s back to work.

Another review of the Xbox360… They’re just pouring in now, aren’t they?

So Apple introduced the video IPod (finally!) Looks interesting. I just hope that Apple comes out with firmware to let some of the other IPod’s play video, too. (Specifically, the Photo IPod I own.) It seems like that might be their direction, since this new Ipod is just called the IPod, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Their new IMac looks interesting, though. Nice it has a built in camera and a remote.

I think I might try the (10+2)*5 method. Seems like a decent way to fight that boredom.

Here’s a hands-on review of the XBox 360. Dunno, though.. That system is just a little bit expensive.
