and I can’t sleep.
Well, it turns out that I caught another cold. Suckage.
I went to the mall on Thursday night to finish up my Christmas shopping, which I did. But later that night when I got home, I had a nice sore throat. Call it a Christmas present from the mall, if you will. Friday I didn’t feel much better, and took some NyQuil before hitting the bed. Of course, in case you didn’t know, NyQuil changed their format, so it basicaly does nothing for sinus pressure. Nice. So I woke up at 3am with my head killing me, and I’ve been watching television on the couch, trying to get back to sleep.
What really sucks, is that today is Festivus. That means that I’m not up to my full potential for the Feats of Strength. But then again, staying up these hours I’ve built up my ability in the Airing of Grievances, so I guess it’s a wash.

Yes, it’s almost here. One week to go, and I really haven’t done much shopping. “Plenty of time“, I say. Of course, I’ll probably be in a mad rush next Sunday to complete it, but that’s neither here nor there.
We ventured to Chandler Fashion Springs on Friday to do some shopping, and it was a mad house. Hopefully I’ll get my share done this week, and the wife will as well.
Other than that, can’t complain. I’m glad I’ll be on vacation for a week and a half coming up after Christmas, and, of course, the infamous Super Happy Fun Day 2006 is going to happen the day after Christmas. I better set aside some bail money.

Yes, now you can have his tree.

Urban Outfitters is selling it here. Merely $24.00.. Might have to talk the wife into picking this one up. Don’t even have to buy ornaments.

In case you didn’t know, this time of year is the exact reason we live in beautiful Arizona. You won’t see me saying things like that in July or August, trust me. But right now, with highs in the mid 70’s, and low of around 35 at our place, it’s not that bad. Especially when I get on calls for work, and a coworker is in South Dakota, where the high is 7. That’s just crazy.
It really hasn’t felt like Christmas yet, here in the Mr. Coffee household. Mainly because we haven’t had the time yet to put up any Christmas decorations, or even buy the traditional Christmas tree. Hopefully this weekend we’ll have a spare moment to do that.
And then, there is the Wii. I think I got the wife addicted to Wii bowling. It’s quite fun. It was also funny seeing her do Wii boxing, but not as funny as this girl, at least. I’ve been playing quite a lot of Zelda, and it just keeps getting more involved. The graphics on it aren’t the greatest, especially since it’s basically a Gamecube game they moved to the Wii at near the last minute, but it’s still great to play.
Peace Out.
