We’re back.. Surprise, surprise. We had fun.
The pluses?
Space Mountain - Okay, I’ll say it again. They’ve done a good job making this even better. We rode it. We rode it a lot.
The little touches - It’s hard to say what they are, but that’s one of the nice things about having an annual pass; you don’t have to rush off to the next ride. We took our time, and even enjoyed the fun activity of people-watching. It’s amazing what some people wear to a park.
The minuses?
Desert Palms Hotel & Suites - This is where we stayed. I know, I wasn’t expecting the Four Seasons.
Where to start?
Well, we had a few of a parking lot and a wall. Nice. Continental breakfast? Nasty coffee, no bagels. The bed? Nice and rocky. The shower? One of those great water-saver shower heads.
It wasn’t great, but for a few dollars more we could have stayed at the Candy Cane Inn, and it would have been much better. Oh well. Live and learn.
