Mostly been working around the house. Had to paint a wall. And, of course, no Jim. But the wife was around, and with the paint roller, we made quick work of it.
It’s decided.. I’m getting an IMac. Now that you can run Windows XP on it too now, it’s a no brainer. The only time I’ll probably use XP is to play a game. And then quickly get back into Mac OS, where it doesn’t crash, I don’t have to worry about viruses or ad-ware, or anything else that makes me hate XP. Oh, and it has a crunchy UNIX core. How could you not love that?
I do know, though, that I’m not going to do what this guy is trying to do. He’s trying to get donations to buy himself a 20″ fully-loaded IMac. Nice. He should just hang out at the end of a freeway offramp..
I even made him a sign:
Oh well. I bet he’ll probably even get enough. There are enough suckers out there. Should I add my PayPal account?
So the other big news.
Well, we’re driving to beautiful San Francisco in June to attend a wedding.
We’re going to go back Los Angeles.
We’re going to go past CBS Television Studios.
We’re not going to go past Bob Barker.
Yeah. We’re going to attend a taping of The Price is Right!. We’ve wanted to do this for like, forever, and now I hold tickets in my hand.
