Been busy..

So, if you didn’t notice, I made a few changes to the site.

First, I updated the Gallery, so it’s looking a little different. No new pictures yet, but the software is better, so I can do more stuff now.

Second, yeah, I change the colors and formatting around a little. I’ll probably tweak it a little more, but at least it’s different.

Mission: SPACE at EPCOT.. Not a deathtrap..

So, another person died on the Mission: SPACE ride.

Definetely a tough time for the family of the victim, and my prayers go out to them. To go on a ride expecting a fun time, and then, well, dying, sucks.

The wife said she’d never go on this ride again after just riding the ride once. It’s pretty extreme, and they warn you how extreme a lot while in the queue, with many opportunities to get out before then. And of course, it’s also the only Disney ride with vomit bags in the ride.

It’s still a fun ride, though.

Only 6 percent of residents of the region, which suffered a magnitude 7.1 earthquake in October 1989 and is laced with major faults, have a disaster plan, a kit with basic items and some training to cope with catastrophe, according to the survey by American Red Cross Bay Area. Nice.
