So, we’re still getting ready for our major trip this Summer… That is, a trip to beautiful San Francisco for the wedding of our good friends.
What does that mean? Oh, the usual. GPS maps loaded. Laptop packed. Itineraries checked.
And, of course, booking some hotels.
Along with that, we’re trying to also book a trip to Houston to see some other friends. Now, I’m trying to use miles, but with the recent merger with America West and U.S. Airways, they’re website and frequent flier stuff is really hosed right now. So we might just end up buying a ticket.
One really, really cool website I’ve found recently during the hunt is sidestep.com.
This is a cool website in that it will search multiple websites, at the same time. It will also show you the price differences if, say, you change your arrival or departure time, or the prices on certain airlines.
Nice to know. Found a few deals to Houston, including $250 each on United, but I’m hoping to use mileage. US Airways needs to get on the ball..
