Okay. Sprinkler system? check.
Drip system for plants? check.
Rocks removed from the ground? uhhhh.

So my life for the last week or so has been working a lot during the day, some at night, and then in the spare time, picking up rocks.

How many rocks, you say?

Two wheelbarrow’s full, actually.

That’s a lot of rocks.

And, of course, I’m only about half done with the yard.

But, we did get some plants in the ground. The wife picked out some really great ones, and they’re attached to the drip system, and they’re, uhh, enjoying the drip? Should have some pictures from those shananigans shortly.

Other than that, well, it’s my Uncle’s wedding this weekend, and hopefully plant some grass on Sunday.

Waa hoo!

It was a happy day in the icedlatte.com household today, as the project that I thought would never end, ie: the sprinklers, was finally completed!

Wasn’t as painful in the end as we thought.  Gluing all the PVC pipe together took the longest, but we made good time.

So, I haven’t mentioned the sprinkler system lately.

It’s not because we haven’t done work on it lately.  Well, mostly we haven’t done any work on it lately.  And that’s for a variety of reasons.  Like rain.  Like family obligations, and finally, just other things that seem to always pop up.

But no more.

Yes, that’s right.  The wife and I both had Friday off.  So we spent a good chunk of the day working on it, as well as working on it today.  And it’s 80-90% done now.

Pictures?  Oh yes, we took some pictures.  Look for them shortly.

Other than that, it’s just beginning to be the season here in Phoenix when you just try to stay cool.  It’s getting warmer here, no doubt about it.
