Links, I got some links..

So every now and then, I thought I’d list a view of the interesting things I’ve found on that Internet.

  • MSNBC collected readers’ worst hotel room pictures.   Nasty, nasty, nasty
  • Happymedian - This one is really cool, for those of us that live in one party of a city, and want to hook up with friends from another part.  If you put in their addresses or ZIP codes, it will figure out the closest place to all of you, and you can then search for bars or restaurants by that address.  Very spiffy for those of us living off the land.
  • Generic Names for Soft Drinks, by County -  Most people call it “Soda” here in Arizona, but in Florida, more people call it “Coke”.  Interesting.
  • Tourist Remover - This is pretty cool.  If you take 4 or 5 pictures of something while you’re out and about, it will work to patch them together, to remove the tourists out of the picture!  There are some galleries that you can check out to see how it works.

That’s it for now.

Who needs sleep..

Of course, when you have a latte close to bed time, you should expect consequences.

Like not being able to sleep much at all.

Having an 8am meeting this morning doesn’t help, of course.

So here I am. 5:30 in the morn’.

At least it is a 3 day weekend, so that means I can catch up on sleep, no problem. So that’s a plus. Nothing like sleeping the weekend away.

Long time, no update.

Yeah, I know. I’ve been bad.

And if you look back in the history of this blog, I’ve been bad before. (And can you believe this blog goes back all the way to 2003? I’ve been doing this thing for 4 years now. I need a life.)

The grass? It’s doing good, actually. More sprouts. Which, of course, means in the next week or so, we’re going to have to go purchase a lawn mower. Ahhh. The fun of growing a lawn.

And, of course, next month is our 7th wedding anniversary. Wow. 7 years. Can you believe that the average cost of gasoline when we got married was $1.67? Crazy.

What are we doing?

Well, yeah, we’re going to Los Angeles.

For 5 days.

How many are we spending at Disneyland, you may ask? Well, probably 1. Maybe 2. But that’s about it. We have bigger fish to fry.

We really want to see more of Los Angeles’ sights. We did get to see a few of them last year, while doing our kick-butt road trip to San Francisco, but we want to see more of them.

And eat at Pink’s this time. We mean it. We really are.
