My neighbor across the street, who is a teenager, is playing basketball outside.
Fine enough.
But starting yesterday, he’s been playing a ‘mix tape’ while doing it.
First up? Linkin Park’s “Numb”. Okay. Whatever.
Next? Why, it’s Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. And it’s not the good, pre-crazy time Thriller of 1982. (Yes, it’s a good album. No, I don’t currently own it. Yes, I did back in the ‘day’, and so did probably most of you, too.)
It’s the ‘remix’ album “Thriller 25″, that sold a whopping 229,000 copies here in the U.S.
228,999 if you don’t count my teenage neighbor.
Now, buying it is half-bad, but then blasting it for all the neighbors to here? That’s just kooky.
Move on kid, move on.
