So today is the first ‘official’ day of the DEFCON convention at the always fabulous Riv. (Cool people call it the Riv. Yeah. Deal with it.)

This year it seems larger than ever. So far, I’ve attended a few talks on compliance (one of the popular buzzwords in IT.), VLAN attacks on switches, and hacking your cable modem to make your traffic anonymous.

My room? Well, not great. I have a few of a brick wall. Yeah. Nice. And did I mention the construction noise that started at 8am?
